Armor of God - Preparation of Peace: Part 6 of 13

Preview: This is the sixth part of a thirteen-part series entitled: Armor of God.


Scripture Reading: Ephesians 2:11-20.

Memory Verse: Romans 8:6.

1. What relationship is there between the Gospel of Christ and peace according to the foregoing Scriptures?
2. What is the third piece of armor that we are instructed to put on? Ephesians 6:13 & Ephesians 6:15.
3. What commission did Christ leave to His Church when He ascended to Heaven? Matthew 28:18-20.
Note: Feet represent motion, the act of walking or traveling. The Gospel of Peace is the Gospel of Christ and His Kingdom, therefore, this third piece of armor denotes the command to witness in all the world.
4. How should we respond to this call? Matthew 4:18-22.
5. What was the theme of Christ’s message to Galilee? Matthew 4:23-25.
6. What is the message for the Church today? Matthew 24:14 & Romans 14:17-19.
7. What kind of Spirit (attitude) must we display while witnessing to others? Mark 10:42-45.
Note: We cannot be an effective witness for God until we have a servant’s heart. Neither will we make it into the Kingdom of God until we have on the whole armor of God; therefore, every child of God must witness to the hope that is in them.
8. What must rule in the heart of a witness? Colossians 3:12-15.
9. How in this achieved in our lives? Colossians 3:16-17.
10. How does God direct our path? Proverbs 3:1-2 & Proverbs 3:5-6.
Note: When we obey the Commandments from the heart and lift Him up by declaring the Gospel of Christ wherever we are, then He will direct our way. We will know what His will is, not only for our ministry, but also for our personal life.
