Scripture Reading: Psalm 19:1-14.
Memory Verse: Psalm 39:1.
1. What will the heart of the wise do? Proverbs 16:20-23.
2. Who will give us words to say for His glory if He has called and chosen us? Matthew 10:19-20.
3. What is the condition of most tongues in these last days? James 3:10.
4. What are some of the works of an evil tongue? Ephesians 5:4 (first part).
5. What will happen to the lying, flattering, and proud speaking tongue? Psalm 12:2-3.
6. What should be the daily prayer of every Christian? Psalm 19:14.
7. What should be the speech and conversation of every Christian? Colossians 4:6.
Note: The speech of every Christian should be ordered by God. God made our mouths and gave us our tongues and, therefore, we should use them to His glory. If God has called and chosen us, He will give us words to say to tell His wondrous story of salvation to the lost world in these closing days. May God help us to yield to His Spirit that, through our hearts, He might tame and rule this little but important member, our tongue.
