1. Do we find in the foregoing Scriptures that God expects us to show love, justice, and mercy to all people?
2. Are we commanded to love strangers as well as our brethren? Deuteronomy 10:17-19 & Hebrews 13:2.
Note: Many times we may be faithful to care for the needs of the brethren, and close our eyes and ears to the needs of strangers. Godly love shows no respect of persons.

4. Does this indicate that we are to encourage or condone evil? Psalm 97:10, Psalm 45:7 & Romans 12:9.
5. Consider the problems in the Church of the Thessalonians. Specifically discuss Paul’s instruction to those who were carnal and those who were not. I Thessalonians 4:1-10.
Note: Paul’s admonishing the Church not to despise the weak members who are dabbling in sin, but to love them and instruct them to live Holy lives. We are never to be a party to sin. We are instructed to show mercy and love to the sinner, and let God deal with their judgment and punishment.
6. How does He deal with the wicked? Romans 12:19 & Psalm 101:3-8.
7. What should our message be to them? Romans 13:8-14 & Galatians 5:13-21.
8. What will be the result if they refuse to listen to and obey godly counsel? Deuteronomy 30:15-20, II John 1:6-9, & Revelation 22:11-12 & Revelation 22:15.
9. What awaits those who love God and obey Him? I Corinthians 2:6-10, James 1:12 & James 2:1-5.
10. What was Peter’s message concerning the coming of the Kingdom? II Peter 3:9-14 & II Peter 3:17-18.
Note: If we love our fellowman as Christ loves us we will be eager for them to be prepared to meet God.
