Scripture Reading: Revelation 18:1-11.

Memory Verse: Revelation 21:6.

Note: In the Scripture Reading we find a challenging command to come out of false churches.
1. For what purpose was the revelation of Jesus Christ given? Revelation 1:1-3.
2. How did John describe the coming of Jesus? Revelation 1:7.
3. What did the angel say about Jesus’ return? Acts 1:7-11.
4. What did the great voice say to John while he was in the Spirit? Revelation 1:10-11.
5. What did the golden candlestick represent? Revelation 1:12, Revelation 1:20.
Note: The candlesticks hold the candles which give light, therefore, they represent the Church, which must lift up Christ. He is the light of the world.
6. How did John describe Jesus? Revelation 1:13-16.
7. How does this compare to Daniel’s messenger? Daniel 10:4-6.
8. How do we know that John’s messenger was Jesus Christ? Revelation 1:17-18.
Note: Jesus identified Himself to John.
9. What did He promise to those who are faithful? Revelation 2:10, Revelation 3:5.
10. What was in the hand of God as He sat on the throne? Revelation 5:1-3.
11. Who only was worthy to open the book? Revelation 5:4-7.
Note: Only Jesus Christ was found worthy to open the book. He was perfect without sin. He was the Lamb of God, slain for the foundation of the world!
