Scripture Reading: Psalm 103:1-14.

Memory Verse: Psalm 103:3.

1. How great is the love of God for His children? Zechariah 8:8.
2. How was healing included in the atonement? Isaiah 53:4-5.
3. How did Christ show His love for the sick? Matthew 8:16-17.
Note: If Christ included healing and forgiveness of sin in His atonement, why doesn’t every Christian seek His benefits first? Is it not because of lack of following Him and little faith?
4. Who did Peter understand to be our healer? I Peter 2:24.
5. What did John say of Christ's desire for His children to be well and prosper? III John 1:2.
6. For what are we to use our bodies? I Corinthians 6:19-20.
7. What should we present to the Lord? Romans 12:1-2.
8. How does sanctification embrace a clean body and mind? II Corinthians 7:1.
9. To whose glory should we eat and drink? I Corinthians 10:31.
10. What will God destroy if we defile them? I Corinthians 3:16-17.
11. What also must we have other than faith? James 2:20.
Note: It is clearly understood that a Christian has a responsibility to take care of his own body. If a person will not follow the health laws laid down by the Lord, we are sure to suffer the consequences. The results will be like Adam and Eve. They disregarded the command of the Lord. That which He told them not to eat, they did eat. We cannot expect to eat and drink that which destroys our bodies, and expect God to heal us, when we refuse to abide by His Word.
12. What will pervert the mind so that we cannot judge right and wrong? Leviticus 10:9-10.
13. Did Adam and Eve control their appetites? Why not? Genesis 3:1-6.
14. Did Christ conquer where Adam and Eve fell? How? Matthew 4:1-4.
15. Are temperance principles necessary to be a Christian? Discuss. I Corinthians 9:24-27.
16. Who will not enter the Kingdom of God? I Corinthians 6:9-10.
17. How does God’s Word heal the sick? Matthew 8:7-13.
18. By what does the Lord heal? Psalm 107:19-21.
19. Who, other than Jesus, anointed and healed the sick? Mark 6:13.
20. What did Jesus do to heal the sick? Mark 5:23.
21. What is necessary for that power? Matthew 17:21.
22. Did the Lord defer healing? What did He do? Matthew 12:13-15.
