His Messengers

Preview: The messengers of the Lord have a serious task to fulfill. 


Scripture Reading: Ezekiel 33:1-11. 

Memory Verse: Luke 24:48. 

1. What will happen to those who hear the message but refuse to accept it? Eze`kiel 33:4. 
2. What will be the end for those that hear the warning and take heed? Ezekiel 33:5. 
3. What will be the end of the shepherd or pastor who does not give the warning? Ezekiel 33:6. 
4. What will be the end of the watchman if he sounds the alarm, and no man heeds the warning? Ezekiel 33:9. 
5. What is the Lord's desire of the wicked? Ezekiel 33:11. 
Note: A minister is compared to a watchman. They are to sound the alarm as the Lord wants the sinners warned and to turn from their evil ways. 
6. How does the Lord brand the ministers who fail to watch and warn their flocks? Isaiah 56:10. 
7. With what does the Lord further compare them? Isaiah 56:11. 
Note: A greedy man is always careful that he does not alarm or excite anyone, for fear of losing his personal gain.

9. In which manner did the Lord further state we should warn the wicked? Isaiah 58:1. 
Note: The Lord is very merciful. His desire is that men and women will be warned before destruction comes upon them.

11. How will the Lord regard those who have been warned if they call upon Him when fear comes upon them? Proverbs 1:27-31. 
12. How does the Lord address those that are scorners at His warning? Proverbs 1:22.

Note: It is utterly impossible for men and women to remain in fallen churches and be saved. They must come out or they will be partakers of their evil deeds. Let us not shun our duty to God, but cry aloud that men may come out before it is too late.
