Preview: A lesson on when, where, and to whom we are each held accountable for our actions, thoughts, and faith.

Scripture Reading: II Corinthians 5:1-10.

Memory Verse: Romans 14:12.

1. Who alone should be called Father? Matthew 23:9.
2. Did Jesus prove His accountability? Matthew 4:10.
3. To whom is each person accountable? Romans 14:12.
4. What is the attitude of men who believe they are only accountable to themselves? II Thessalonians 2:3-4.
5. Should men be called masters? Why? Matthew 23:10.
6. Should we be lords over God’s heritage? I Peter 5:3.

Note: Satan’s methods always tend toward one goal, and that is to make men the slaves to other men and thus separate them from God, destroy faith in God, and expose men to temptation and sin. Christ’s work is to set men free, to renew faith, and to lead them to willing and loyal obedience to God.
9. Where must we all finally appear to render up our account? II Corinthians 5:10.
Note: The Christian walk of life is an individual affair, and each individual must give account of himself to God. There should be no human constraint or compulsion in the true Christian way.
