Preview: There is great wealth that comes from man and great wealth that comes from God. This lesson reveals God’s views on what is most important to our salvation and well-being.


Scripture Reading: Proverbs 13:7-25.

Memory Verse: Hebrews 11:26.

1. How may all honor the Lord? Proverbs 3:9.
2. What caution is given concerning riches? Psalm 62:10.
3. How are riches perceived in this verse? Can riches be retained to men’s hurt? Ecclesiastes 5:13.  
Note: Riches are a snare to some, and often becomes their god. Some have no time to seek after God, and spend all their time in accumulating wealth and when it is all stored up, Jesus said “Thou fool, this night thy soul is required of thee.”
4. What charge is given to the rich? I Timothy 6:17-19.
5. What makes one rich without sorrow? Proverbs 10:22.
6. How are true riches obtained? Proverbs 22:4.
7. How did Moses esteem the riches of Christ? Hebrews 11:24-26.
8. What two classes of rich men are mentioned in the Bible? Proverbs 13:7.

10. What will men's treasure amount to in the last days? James 5:1-3.  
11. What riches can be used to deliver man in the days of God's wrath? Zephaniah 1:18.

Note: When a man has great wealth, his money often becomes his god, and a fascination of the Devil. So, it is impossible for wealth to deliver one from the wrath of God.
13. Where will be the hiding place for the kings and rich men of the earth when Jesus comes? Revelation 6:15-17.
14. What are true riches, who are they from, and how durable are they? Proverbs 8:18-21.
